Four Dragons Martial Arts provides training in a broad range of martial arts styles, while integrating the traditional martial arts values of integrity, respect, perseverance and discipline.
Here, students of all ages and abilities are able to train in martial arts, increase their health and fitness levels, build their confidence, and learn strategies to help cope with stress.
Our atmosphere is positive and accepting. Students are taught with encouragement and positive discipline techniques. We encourage all students to take an active role in increasing their fitness and wellbeing.
Combined Martial Arts
Four Dragons Martial Arts combines skills from many different martial arts styles to provide a well-rounded program for realistic self defence. Students are exposed to a full range of skills and are encouraged to develop their own unique style of self defence based on their individual strengths and weaknesses.
Hapkido: Includes joint manipulation, throws and takedowns, rolls, tumbling, falls, kicking techniques and patterns.
Muay Thai Kickboxing: Includes kicking techniques, knee and elbow strikes and blocks, and footwork techniques.
Kempo Karate: Includes kicking, knife hands and hand strike techniques, patterns (katas), stances and footwork.
Shotokan Karate: Includes patterns (katas), kicks and stances.
Kali Estokada: Includes stick techniques and knife defence.
Boxing: Includes punching and blocking techniques as well as footwork.
Aikido: Includes joint manipulation, throwing, and sword techniques.
Brazillian Jiu Jitsu: Basic grappling techniques.
Life Skills: Bully proofing, focus, respect, discipline, persistance, integrity, good sportsmanship, goal setting, and positive attitude building.
Anatomy & Physiology
Registration is on-going! Students may start classes at any time during the year. There is a wide range of student ability levels in every class. No experience required! Beginners welcome!
